Passenger side, in front of the door on the outside (as opposed to the tranny tunnel). Remove the trim, you'll see it.

Well, he could have purchased the car with those mods on it or he could have had the mods installed by a shop. Not everyone actually wants to work on their cars. Some people buy them only to drive them.

thats not that fair of a statement to make. like mahjik said, some guys just buy their cars to drive them and have someone else do the work for them. or their not as mechanically inclined as others. i remember not too long ago you were doing the vac hose job and had somewhere close to 600 posts. so thats like saying you have an awful lot of posts to be asking questions about a hose job. some guys have a ton of posts and don't know much, others have less than 50 and know a ton. can't always look at post counts.

Ok....well, I really don't feel like arguing this out because I have seen these things escalate into some nasty stuff...

all I am trying to say is that if you have a 3rd gen it's kind of inevitable that you will be doing some work on the car yourself...Unless you live an hour or less away from a reputable shop like pettit, RP, peter farrel, or other...truth is, and I honestly believe it, if you own a 3rd gen you are going to get your hands dirty. And you are right...really can't tell knowledge by post count...later all.

Same here. I have a hard copy shop manual as well as the normal manual and complete electrical manual on CD ROM. Those were actually gifts from my now Ex-girlfriend. Talk about a cool girl, not only does she drive an FD but she is thoughtful enough to buy great presents like that. Too bad it didn't work out. But I KEPT THE MANUALS!!!! Laterz.

thanks for the pics. i installed my pfc last night and got my radator and greddy intercooler mounted. today i'm doing the 1300cc injectors, fuel pump and a midpipe. this is the first time i have done the work on my car. i had the suspension done at a shop and the clutch. everything else was on the car when i bought it. it should be a big diffrence when i'm done putting it all in.

When you have all those parts sitting in the garrage, I know it's tempting to slap it all on at once...BUT as a means of testing and troubleshooting, you should install one mod, then test it for a day or so, then second mod, then test, then the other and so on....thing is, if you put it all on at the same time and you have a problem, chances are it's going to be more difficult to figure out what it is...
