Hard to see for me --but a guess. When the car is running and you ground that connector before shut down (key off ) and the fans will run for ten minutes cool down . That is if I am guessing correctly from the picture .

 

yea... thats the fan relay switch...

I knwo because I did that mod about 4 months ago.. you just get a female adapter, a 2 way switch, let your car idle turn the switch on sit there for 2 minutes when the fans kick in you turn the switch off and the car off and wala, 10 minute cooldown with car shut off

 

But does anyone know where is plugs into normally?

That's correct. It doesn't plug into anything........if it's the connector that runs the "fan mod".

On my car, the wire was black with a yelllowish stripe.

 

Whoa, that's the fan mod? I thought it was a little more involved than that. Cool.
