Where do you put you phone???

When I'm driving i hate having my phone in my pocket for some reason but.. where do you put it in an fd? in my integra i could put it in "tray" underneath the ebrake put I haven't found anywhere in the fd to place your phone.

Best place so far was the map holder (i think thats what its called) but its too deep.. hard to get at and when i leave the car, I can't see the phone and forget it about 9 times out of 10.

No i do not talk on the phone and drive, nor do i text. I will maybe read a text at a red light (which is why its nice to have easy access to the phone) but point is.. no answers like "why would you need a phone holder while your driving" etc..

anyways show me what you guys have got

Driver's side door handle (pocket), I have a Leatherman in the bottom so it doesn't drop to far and isn't hard to remove...

But why would you need a phone when you're driv....I'm just kidding

I usually drop my phone in the map pocket (driver side door pocket thingy), which makes it cumbersome to get to as well.

Am I missing something here? I have like an empty pocket tray underneath my radio to stash whatever I want in there. I'm guessing FD's don't come with this from factory and the previous owner put it in?

Same here or in the din (R1) next to my garage opener. The pocket area behind the ebrake handle has the added benefit of being harder to forget and leave in the car.

Correct! the factory setup had a double din factory stereo. installing an aftermarket stereo head unit (single din) leaves room to add a tray there. previous owner put one in mine too... even has a push close/open door.

In all my vehicles I make a bracket that attaches to the side of the stereo and it comes out bending off to the side. then bolt one of those grip style holders. It is very stable and you can see it if you get a call incoming.

Btw I hate it when I forget my phones in my jean pocket and start driving and they ring, pita to get it out.

I'm actually curious how it looks like sitting in an ashtray. Anybody have a picture of their phone sitting in the ashtray? How deep is it?

I just toss it on the passenger seat. Or the driver door map pocket but during turns, it moves from side to side making an annoying noise so mostly just passenger seat.
