Where to buy fuel filter?

Where do you get your FD fuel filter and what would you prefer?

Agree, from Ray.

My *preference* would be a self-changing fuel filter.

If you don't mind an aftermarket Rotary performance has one for $25. I've used them and haven't noticed any issues.

Is the aftermarket better? Why is it cheaper than the OEM?

Purolator makes one that's about $20. I found one in stock once. Once. Just go to your local auto parts place and have them order a couple.

I typically like to use stock parts but the Mazda filters are outrageously priced.

Then mount it in a different place so that it doesn't take 2 hours, working blind, with gas in your arm pits, to replace it next time. That thing is a PITA.

I don't know about better. OEM is usually more expensive than aftermarket for these kind of parts.
