Weather is getting colder here and when pulling hard, I sometimes get a beep and a stumble.
I only get this with the EVC at "high" boost (which is about 12PSI).
Does it only beep at redline or also when hitting fuel cut ?

 

mine only beeps at 8000 (about 500 rpm before redline). no beeps at fuel cut.

 

The beep will come before the fuel cut, on my 93 about 7500 from what I can tell.

 

The rev buzzer goes off at 7500 rpm.

The american 3rd gens don't have a buzzer for fuel-cut, perhaps euro-spec 3rd gens do?

In any case, if you're on the stock ecu, you shouldn't be running 12 psi -- stick with 10 psi.

 

ive never heard my buzzer....maybe cuz of my 3" exhaust?

 

I swear my car has no rev buzzer! Maybe it broke, or a previous owner disabled it? Weird.

some1 should post a movie of theirs going off. That way we can figure out what it exactly sounds like and how loud

 

very high pitch, believe me...you'll hear it over your exhaust...i have the HKS cf-ti

 

Hmm... when on the track and having an opened window to cool the cabin you can miss it. But if the cabin is closed, then you can hear high pitched, beep, but its very short one - 0.1sec or so.

I think my goes off at around 7k RPM, but then again my RPM gauge is acting up so I need to shift according to my speedometer.
