Front or rear? The fronts are one piece with the spindle (you get a new spnidle) and the rears have to be pressed out of the upright.

The bearings are specially constructed and sealed. I believe you will have to get them from Mazda. The replacement of the rear bearing involves removing the upright from the car and pressing the old bearing out and the new one in; I had to bo this recently.

The front comes as the entire HUB (the Hub itself with both bearings, the ABS rotor and wheel studs pressed in place and even prepacked with grease!) the Spindle is the fixed part it slides on to (Just did mine last Saturday) that is attached to the upright.

Nice to know the front is easy. I got to learn the hard way that replacing a rear wheel stud means you get to replace the bearing too. Between the studs, new bearing and machine shop I had nearly $200 in that operation.
