Whats Wrong With My Boost???

I bought a my 93' rx-7 like a month ago and when i got it, it was fixed up a lot. power fc, street ported, hks front mount, blitz bov, 800/1600 injectors, hks exhaust, custom piping 3", and other things too long to name. my problem is, when i push my car really hard and hit 14.5 pounds of boost my car acts really funny. the car slows down and speeds up after hitting 1 psi and im holding the gas down all the way i was thinking it was my boost controller but i dont think it would do that. or maybe it was my power fc and should get it dyno tuned. it had no cat when i bought it and the hks exhaust was just too loud so i got a silencer for it (got myself 2 tickets for it) and bought a cat for it.

Get the car over to one of the good rotary shops in the LA area (search around the forums for them, they've been posted many times and you'll stumble onto other good stuff while you're at it).

With all of that custom stuff done to the car anyone is going to be guessing without looking at the car itself. If you've made exhaust changes you'll need to retune the PFC at a minimum.

oh.

well i know of a great shop in long beach called Mazdatrix. You can check them out at mazdatrix.com

you will want to talk to john there, he is a rotory guru. worked @ mazda comp and has been dealing with rotories for over 20 years (i think).

Anyways he can be a little pricey but well worth it.
If you want to have someone check it out before that, i maybe able to look at it this weekend and give you an opinion ( i gaurantee no fix ) =)

I live in Torrance.
