the coolant buzzer runs through the main harness over to the battery harness. If you look over there you could ground it untill you have time to fix it.

are you sure the coolant level sensor is plugged in? I had mine plugged into the wire that used to go to the A/C on my car and it did the same thing.

fckingargzihatethiscar

I am so fed up with this fcking car.. so I am still stranded.. going on my 2nd week. I finally get everything to get my 5spd harness converted over to work with my auto dash harness.. I put it in and the car starts fine, revs fine, everything.. then.. BUZZZZ damn coolant buzzer comes on. So I go and tear off the uim looking for the harness that has to be loose or missing for the coolant level.. There is no coolant level sensor for the 2nd sensor on the 5spd harness... so I tried grounding the damn the out so it will go away.. still BUZZZZ.. So I notice if you pull the tail fuse it stops.. cool.. Check brake lights and they work and everything.. Im happy.. Go to start the damn car and it wont ******* start. I go tripple check EVERYTHING still wont start.. tries to but wont idle or anything. Today I messed with the wires near ecu and I seam to get the car idling.. for about 15-20 seconds tops and if I touch gas it dies.. I am confused and im to the point im ready to sell the damn car and go buy a bmw m3 and a rx8 to replace this headache.. somone please give some sort of idea to fix this thing so I dont get to the point where I will sell it..

Well lets think about this here. It was revving fine with that fuse in right? Have you tried putting the fuse back in yet? If it works with the fuse then I guess your gonna have to try and fix that coolant level sensor somehow. If that doesn't do it I can't tell you anything unless I was there to look at the car. I know how hard harness work can be since me and my buddy did his S14 harness conversion from auto to 5 spd on his SR20 swap, so I feel ya bud. Let me know if you figure it out.

Buzzer is reportedly located in the gauge cluster. If you want to shut it off

Other option is to ground the coolant sensor line.

did you check the coolant sensor near the Oil pressure sending unit close to the firewall on the driver side? If thats plugged in, great. Now look near where the AC and PS are, right behind them. The black wire should go to the black wire and the white connector should go to the white connector if you still have AC. Double check this. Sounds like you are doing things you don't need to.

What else is the buzzer connected to? It's not the same one that beeps when the key is in the ignition and doors are open, or if the headlights are on,right?

buzzer isnt bothering me that much anymore.. its the fact that i still cant rev my car hard at all,, have to do it slow then hit it hard to get it to rev and even then it still has problems... and i cant put load on it because it dies when you try to.. I put 10ohm 10% resistors.. gotham told me today i need 8ohm 1%... is that the problem??
