Cool Whats it worth?

Hey guys, theres a rice shop down the street and in the store there is this breath taking 95 R1. it has the 99 spec front, some off the trunk wing, flawless paint and body,lowered,19 inch 5 spoke axis wheels, and a three inch greddy exhaust. its black on Black and its for sale. the catch? No motor or tranny. Now Before I start talking with the owner,
how much is it worth to you?

thanks for your input.

They didn't make R1s in 95.

Yeah he told me 95 R1. The door was locked so i coudnt see the car info on the door well. Besides didnt the R1 come with dual oil coolers? I looked under and saw one. Either way the car looked mean as hell. Im not sure of the mileage because the owner wasnt there and the kid behind the counter was no help. What do you guys think it would actually cost me to bring in an engine and tranny and have it installed be a pro. theres no way i can handle it by myself. im not that cool.

You'll have to wait until you find a complete and unmolested long block motor, due to all the parts you'll need besides just the "motor". I thought trannies were ~$2k from Mazda, sometimes people sell them for $500-1000 on the forum.

You can verify if it is a 95 by checking the vin on the dash by looking through the windshield.

The vin should look something lke this, a # represents a number...JM1FD####S#######.

The S represents the 1995 model year.
