Question Whats it worth?

Its a 93, Black, in awesome condition.
Mods include: downpipe, intake, boost, water temp, oil pressure guages.
The bad:
Compression is ~7.1 average for rear rotor, and ~7.3 for front.
What would you offer for the car?
Thanks for your imput!

Awesom is relative. Awesome to me might be a POS to a collector.

What is the mileage, condition of all parts? Do all systems work flawlessly? Does it have any problems? How is the paint, body. interior, upholstry? Has it ever been wrecked? Who did the mods? When? Why? Are pictures available?

Milage: 70,xxx
new radio, bose system removed, AST, no coolant leaks, no oil leaks (talked to mazdatech, who did checkout, and he said he was more concerned with the oil leaks than anything.

Tach is jumpy, doesnt work all the time
New turbos a few thousand miles ago.
Fan mod done
never wrecked, interior looks like new (no peeling)
has rims and is lowered.
also has a turbo timer
Mazda tech did all the work, and the recipts are all in the mail. Oil was changed every month, reguardless of milage (some changes were 200 miles apart.)

Even if the compression is low?

Quick question to anyone-
What exactly does the compression being low mean?
I understand how it works, but if the min. from mazda is 7 or something, what happens after that?
Sorry for my newb question.
( I understand compression, and that at 0 it is dead...)

Lots of people don't pay attention to book standards. If they like the car enough then they will come up with the money.

Yea, i understand that, and i want the car, but i just wanted to be sure the motor wasnt going to be useless due to low compression in a few months.

Unfortunately, that motor will eventually go - mine went with 70K from the coolant seals - very common problem - might want to keep 3-5K on hand if the motor does go. If the body is in good shape and the turbos are new, I'd offer $13K since that engine could be a problem - if the engine were new and built by a reputable rotary mechanic then the car I think would be worth $17K. Mine's for sale

kwikrx7- the coolant system was pressure tested. no internal or external leaks. Mazdatech said the car was babied.

When I purchased my 94, I knew there was a chance that the engine could go at any time and I therefore had planned to set aside another 4K just in case. I just hoped I could get at least a year out of it.

I have been lucky so far, but I never count out the possibility that the engine will let me down and I will have to replace it.

I'd say it's worth 15k. Also, is it a base, R1, touring model?

As the others said, the motor probably doesnt have much life left. At 70k I'd honestly be surprised to see it make it another 10k, but some have lasted longer of course.
