When I picked up my FD it had a t04S and the stock intercooler and airbox just like this one. Made me very nervous but the price was too low to pass up and 10K later the car is still going strong.

He is only running 11lbs...the turbo also didn't look all that big to me either. Only 1000 miles on the engine. A waste, yes, but may not be all that dangerous since he's keeping the boost low. GodzillaT78, when he sold his car had the stock IC back on it...I believe I read that Cam or whoever from Pettit said it was fine and that the Stock IC is actually the most efficient IC out there for stock boost levels.

terrible wiring jobs too...that amp wire's running everywhere.

Also, 11 psi on a larger turbo is not the same as 11psi on smaller turbo.

I am curious where the air from the stock airbox is going.

Looks like a Hyperground system in there.

If you were talking to me I am so very well aware of this. Just quoting what Cam, who is an actual expert, said.

just cause its low boost dosent mean the stock intercooler is ok. the pressure drop and heat soak still affect it, he would be better off running with no intercooler :-p

I LOVE BLACK FDs WITH RED INTERIOR ....maybe thats because i own one haha.....

anyway, owner probably just put the stock intercooler back in when he decided to sell it and sold whatever other intercooler was in there to make some extra money.
