What would cause a rough idle only part of the time?

What would cause a rough idle only part of the time?
ok some times i am dirving the car then i pull up to a stop light my idel starts going up and down and soo does the vacume pressure and some times i only get like .79 to .80 bar boost insted of.87 which is what the computer is set for

On another note, don't rotarys loose a tad bit of compression when they are warmer? I read this in a thread a while back.
