The better question is which seats fit with an available low mounting rail. Nothing worse than a seat sitting too high

I can live with the compromised support of the RZ seats however the rail gives too much flex. Wish Sakebomb would finalize a proper low profile rail for pole positions.

The OEM RZ rails flex? I assume when cornering?

Yes. Push on a mounted seat and notice there is a lot of movement and flex.

The RZ / Spirit recaros flex A TON. The whole seat. I'm trying to find a video that shows how much, it's alarming. It's not a track seat, it's a sporty seat with good support.

Sakebomb's critique of the Angry Panda Factory reproductions most likely would extend to the originals as well.

I agree, it would seem there is a need for rails for the pole position seats, however I thought I may have seen some post where the pole's shoulder pads make contact with the door cards.

A forum member by the name of Jort has a cool build thread where he used Recaro RS-G seats. You have to order them from Recaro Japan, but I believe they look like a better fit and I think overall they just look better. (See post #2) https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...build-1154513/
