What PSI can Stock BOV/CRV withstand? What is the BEST BOV/CRV to buy?

Alright,

I replaced my fucked up stock bov/crv with another stock setup. Ran the car pretty hard about 6-8 times, and fucked up the other ones. I am running 13psi on the FC with full exhaust, DP, MP, Catback.

Curious what they can take before giving out.

Also

I can use 2 BOV's since the CRV and BOV operate the same. Which is the best set to go with, best reliability for stock twins!

Thanks

Something is very strange with your setup then, because there's a large number of us running 13+ psi on the stock BOVs with no issues.....

Well this is what I am running:

Intake, DP, MP, Catback, 3mm, Ported WG, Power FC with base maps, Fuel Pump.

I popped in some stock BOV's last night to replace my old *** ones, and it worked, and then they stopped working again, I figured I blew these like I did the old ones.

Now I get boost Spikes sometimes, but I want to know what could cause these BOV's to keep ******* up....?

maybe your springs in the bov are weak and can't withstand the pressure.. try an aftermarket bov. try the greddy type s bov's and hopefully that would solve your problems

They can handle a lot. I've ran 20psi thru them with no problems. I also ran 16-17psi on the dyno and put my hand in front of them and they werent leaking.

I didnt have a problem till I got an exhaust leak and the exhaust that was leaking out got the bov to hot (it was right above the manifold). THat warped it internally and then it started leaking.

I bought a Tial, the thing looks freak'n awesome

What else could cause a BOV to go bad? Any clues?

I know the Type-S is rated for 15psi, and can take up to 20 psi no problems.

But I dont want to end up blowing this thing up...
