I run 93 octane (and 17 psi) with all the stuff listed in my sig. I try and hit up Sunoco for a 94 octane Margarita as much as possible though . If you have *good tuning* and run reasonable boost, than 93 is sufficient. My bud and business partner Steve "Genghis" Kan has tuned me to the point where the car runs like a champ boosting to 1.14 on the power fc on pump gas. Over a year ago, I cracked two seals off of a bad tank of supposed 93 octane at an Exxon. That rebuild really put a bad taste in my mouth....

We get 95 ,97 and 98 octane over here but mine only gets run on 98- seeing as its a JDM model so is mapped for ~100 octane.
But we have to pay sssh!t loads for it- £3.12/gallon! Which I think is $1.64/gallon in the US! How much do you guys pay then?

I hope you are talking about Norweigan dollars or something, otherwise I just found a way to make some $$
In Cali it's ~$2.00 - $2.20 for 91 octane

Nah, got it wrong! £ vs $ = 1:1.64 so £3.12 = $5.12 , so $5.12/ gallon!! But then that is 98 octane I suppose. Still its not cheap compared to you guys!!

Always 93, but the gas station across the street is now carrying 110 Not sure whether that would be a good thing to try or not.

I would make it a habit to get a gallon or two of the 110 octane and then fill up with the 93. Never hurts to have that little extra bit of detonation protection. I think that running straight 110 octane would be a waste unless you plan on pushing 27 psi like pluto does....

Sorry if I got your hopes up--I've yet to find Sunoco in TX. I was referring to when my rex is in NJ to visit all my family.
