One would presume that you took care of a lot of maintenance issues when you had the motor pulled and replaced (new hoses, new lines, new radiator, etc).
I would focus on making sure the braking and suspension systems are functioning 100% (replace worn bushings, etc). After that, just drive the damn thing. You could always get a better intercooler to reduce stress on the turbos and cool the air further.
If you are looking to spend money, do a search on "reliability mods" and see what you haven't done. Is your PFC tuned? That would be a great way to spend a little money if it isn't.

I have a set of Tokico Illumina's w/ springs coming in next week from another forum member and yes my pfc is getting mapped @ the rx-7 store in columbus. Also, my brakes are becoming squeky so ill prolly upgrade in a month or so. Do you think i should upgrade the fuel pump or fuel system and/or get a ebc?

Here are a few ideas from the FAQ:

Reliability mods / $1000 to spend

Personally, I'd get a fresh set of tires, a radiator, catch up on maintenance (new filters, belts, hoses, spark plugs & wires), and maybe a lightweight battery also.
