Yeah you can either reinstall the stock intake crossover from the duct to pull some fresh air in the general direction of the filters, or cover the hole in the duct to force more air through the IC, but only if you have some way for fresh air to get to the filters.

And get the alumuminum AST.

After that is is up to your budget and goals for your car.

put your aws hose back in or ditch the whole unit for a greddy elbow, ast needs to go, plug that hole in your intercooler duct or ditch the stock POS for a SMIC or FMIC, other than that keep up with your tuning.

Read the FAQs, there's lots of info about beginning mods. As said before, get an aluminum AST, and leave the air pump in place. Trust me, removing it in a lightly-modified car is more work than its worth.

Oh yeah, and your budget has a lot to do with the route you take.

If your referring to the plug with the blue connector on the elbow, I think someone has relocated the IAT. Not sure how/if the car is running with it unconnected, so my recommendation would be connect it back up.
It almost looks like a car that's been in storage for a while, from the rust on the engine hook, alternator belt tensioner and PS pump pulley bolt. So changing brake/clutch fluid might be in order.

just got this car home from DC today. It ran beautifully on the way back.
The apex seals were changed less than 3000 miles ago. I can't tell if the thing got a full rebuild or not.. but I can't imagine doing that much work and not rebuilding it. I know a ton of money was pumped into it. The guy was going to replaec the AST but Performance Buyers Club told him it was in absolute perfect condition. I'm not sure about whatever got routed around but the car runs absolutely great. Just hung up on this stupid dash lights and **** backlight issue (no the fuses are good).

I love how it runs now so if anything else needs to be changed it is only from the maintenance standpoint. I don't think I'll need a FMIC as I don't and won't be running it hard for any duration.
