Yourself. Specifically driving school.

You have a car which can get you in a lot of trouble *real* fast. So fast that you will not realize that you are in over you head until you are way past the point of no return.

You need to go learn how to get yourself out of trouble.

So quit focusing so much on modding it and go enjoy the car for a while.

i got mine for $1120 brand new with shipping from www.greenline.jp and tuning is like $250. that's a substantial bit short of $2k, but yes, it is a bit pricey and you do still need a boost controller.

$250 for tuning? Most people pay a lot more than that, up to $500 sometimes.

Then every mod after that you technically have to get your car tuned again.

Stick with getting a good boost controller and finish the reliability mods. You don't need a PFC until you plan on running bigger injectors and more boost.

300 to the wheels is alot of power for a 2800 lbs car. and i looked at your profile and you are only 17yrs old. i am 19 and this is my 2nd fd. i wrecked my first one when i was 17 and it had 260 whp. i would say get used to driving the car before you step up to a 300whp car. you dont have much experience at driving. i thought i did , ive raced 125cc go-karts since i was 15 and i still wrecked my 7. this is just a bit of advice to learn the cars limits first.

I'm 17 but I have been racing and driving since I was 11, my uncle works for NASCAR and that is what I grew up in, Go-Kart racing, Dirt Track, you name it, I have driven cars with much more power than 300 hp.

Also I'm not one of those 17 year olds who go out and show off. "Hey look guys I can get 160 on the highway!"

From your other posts it sounds like you have some experience driving. Before you start trying to mod the car for power you should change all of your fluids (oil, antifreeze, transmission, differential, and brake)and filters (air, fuel, oil). Then you should check your tires and brakes. Make sure that you have good tires that will keep you on the road with the hp you are looking for. You should also look at your brakes to see if they are okay. If you need to replace them I would suggest you go to Hawk HPS pads. You should also take a look at your shocks and springs to see if they need replaced. Once you do all of this you will know that your car is safe and in good condition so that you can start trying to push the limits of your car without being worried about something breaking down.

Personally I would suggest modifying your suspension before going for more power, but that's just me. The more grip you have on the road the faster you can go. If you already have more power than you can keep on the road then what is the point in getting more power? I would suggest you look into coilovers (JIC, Tein, Zeal) and rollbars (Tripoint, Racing Beat), but you do what you want.

i installed a lightened flywheel when i had a setup close to yours, now its one of my favorite mods ever. you can really feel the response and accelloration increase. dont know why most people skip this mod. other than that, a boost controller would be a good option at your stage. good luck man!
