What filter is this and where can I get a replacement?

Can anyone tell me what filter is utilized in the attached image? They run off the stock twin turbos. I lost (broke off) one during a recent drive and I can't seem to find a similar filter through random searches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's just a breather filter. Run to your local parts store and look in their ricer section.

You can typically use lawn mower filters on those. Check your local home improvement store as you'll probably find one there for a few bucks.

K&N also sells small breathers as well.

You don't really need them on the stock blowoff valves. They never suck in, just blow out.

Thumbs down Mazda's Opinion

In case anyone cares what Mazda thinks about the ever-popular cone filters in the engine compartment, have a look at the Service Bulletin below.

(Note that these filters also "draw heated, engine compartment air" into the turbos...)

Wow all that heat under the hood cooking wiring harnesses, engines, radiators, and turbos, and Mazda is worried about the air pump. LOL
