If you compare the FD to Corvettes, Evos, STIs, BMWs, Porches, and Ferrarris, the FD still looks better.

The body shape, the interior design, and when you sit in the drivers seat everything you look at has beautiful curves. And it's a blast to drive!

The fact that I could afford it drew me to it. The fact that it still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it (after over 7 years) is just icing on the cake.

I love the body and the starkness of the interior - pure sports car with minimal fluff and gadgetry. And I love the attention. I had owned my car less than 5 minutes before I got a compliment from a perfect stranger. At the gas station, I can park beside a $90,000 Porsche, and people will still walk past the Porshe to tell me they love my car and ask me what it is.

its one of the true japanese sports cars, great looks, engine with tuning potencial, great balance, sound of a rotary engine. also the price, for half the cost of a supra, you get a car that can run with the big boys

It was a car people liked when you modded it and not a restoration project like all my other cars when it is not factory people say it isen't right. also found one at a cheep price and a RX-7 TII took me for a ride and showed me how much fun turbos were.

for me it was the shape, the door and the 99 spec rear lights, and the sound of the car when the second turbos kicks in, pure xxx art

Yours, in my opinion, is one of the nicest examples I've seen. Nice job.

The cookie dispenser in the center console. Honestly, do we need this thread every month? The FD is great and all, but seriously...

unique body, curves, back lights with the bumper combo = sex, spinny things in the engine, how F'ing fast a stock one is, how much sexier the back lights with bumper combo + 99 spoiler is.

The reason hasn't changed in the 14 years I've owned mine - It's the car's eye catching design that hasn't aged and still looks fresh everytime I see one on the road. On the rare occasion that I do pass one on the road I still think to myself - what a great looking car!

The thing I like about the rx7 is it was originally designed to be a pursuit of the perfect street legal sports car.... with air conditioning.
