Pretty sure this is broken, what is it? (pics)
Alright so I was working on my rx7 and took off the intake, and under the TB i noticed this line wasn't hooked to anything. Long story short, im pretty sure it broke off, thats what it looks like. What is it/what does it do and do i have to get a new part from mazda or what? Here are the pics, thanks for any help.
ps - sorry about some of the pics being blurry, i was in a rush

See the fat 'valve' with the green band around it? That line plugs into that valve. It looks like that line broke off the valve, and took the stem with it.
I doubt you can glue it back together. Time to sniff out a replacement valve...

It looks like vacuum line used to open or close (i cant remember) your secondary throttle plates. If you notice there is a peice of plastic stuck inside the vacuum hose going to the TB, its the nipple that was on the other end of the green thing.

Just a check valve for the secondary throttle plates. Those throttle plates are only used when the engine is cold... IE: They are closed when the engine is cold so you can't rev out the engine, but open once the car warms up.
Basically all you did was disable the operation of the throttle plate and create a vac leak. No big deal. Find a new check valve in the junk yard.
