its the only one that didn't come in the lightweight pulley kit

a/c or power steering? im a newbie just a guess look in the workshop manual.. www.rx7s.com has a manual online.

Thats the air conditioning. It works on a clutch system so above I think 4500 it disengages so it doesnt cause damage to the compresor, also its disengaged when the a/c is off.

Red is the air conditioning pully. Blue the idler pully, its just there to put tension on the belts.

Edit...I had somthing here, then confused myself...so I deleted it.

All I have now is the alt and WP...lotsa room...


As far as the A/C clutch disengaging, I had it on and wound it up to 7k. It got really cold really quick, so either mine was busted and worked all the way up, or it doesn't disengage.

austin thats power steering. The pulleys go like this: Far left- air pump, then alt above water pump and main, main is the double pulley, then there is the tensioner pulley, the right 2 are power steering on top, ac on bottom.

Oh I thought you were pointing at the AC pulley, like everyone mentioned its a tensioner to tighten or loosen the belt.
