I beleive that's the A/C motor and above it on the same bracket is the P/S motor. Try turning on the A/C and see if it's cold? It looks likes it's burned out. Make sure there's nothing unpluged or a burnt fuse.

That is your AC compressor. There is a clutch on that hub assembly, when the AC is on (asuming it is charged and is operating correctly), it will engage and spin. If it is low on freon, has a bad pressure switch somewhere, or multiple other reasons, it will not engage- even with the AC on.

LOL, are you running the car with that stuck? I see everything else spining and not the ac. If you keep running it your belt is gonna be toasted.
By the way, I have an ac compresser for sale.

If you are turning hte AC on and the compressor isn't coming on, it is a good chance it is just low on freon. While other things go wrong also like the compressor going bad and such, it is usually just low- especialy if the fans aren't coming on with the AC either. Like I mentioned earlier, there are pressure switches on the system (both low and high) and if either one turns off, then the compressor clutch will not engage, the compressor will not spin and on a lot of cars (I guess the FD also), the fans will not come on with the AC (but will still work normally). I can't believe I never looked on my car, but since the AC works, I never bothered- but is the FD R12 or R134? If it takes R12, you have to go to a professional licensed AC repair shop and they are required by law to fix any leaks they find prior to re charging the system- that is where it can get pricey. If it is R134, you can just to go WalMart, AutoZone, etc. and get the charge hose (get the one with the gauge) and a can of freon for ~$20 and just add a charge to it yourself.

I think the confusion is that it looks like nothing is spinning on the A/C compressor. What is actually going on is the outside edge of that compressor pulley is turning. Just touch it carefully with a screwdriver or something, or flash a timing light on it. You will see that it is indeed turning. When the clutch engages then the inside of the wheel turns as well.
