what do you think about cars with wide fenders?

i kind of have a serious problem.

both rear fenders have been dented while my car was parked in a parking lot.

yesterday a front fender was smashed. so i have to replace the front for sure, the back 2 not so big a deal.

so i was thinking since im replacing the fenders i should go ahead and upgrade them.

the feed kit from chuck at rotary extreme is gona run 1200 dollars for all four fenders.

how much are stock rear fenders? i know the stock front ones are only about 200.

now the other issue, i have 17x8 in the front with a +45 offset. the wheel comes right to the edge of the stock fender. will the car look funny if i get these wider fenders? there should be less than an inch gap to the fender edge i think. or do they make spacers? i hear spacers are a bad idea.

from what I've gathered the wheel spacers aren't safe because they can cause your lug nuts to loosen over time. The fender flares are a different more aggressive look, however I would make sure to have the hp to back them up. They draw alot of attention.
good luck.

Widebody is super nice, but you're going to need new rims with a new offset, so that adds more $$$ to your cost.

I wouldnt be worried about the cost of the panels as much as i'd be worried about them being put on right and looking good for less then an arm and a leg.

just curious, how did you get 3 out of 4 fenders dented in a parking structure?

Is it because of haters or people that dont know how to drive

If the fenders are only mildly dented in, isn't it possible to get them "tapped" back out to its original form?

1 fender is not noticeable unless u look close. the other rear one had a big dent right on the curved area. i pushed it out, but it is noticeable but not that bad. the front fender was completely crush to maybe a few inches above the wheel.

the rear fenders were hit while the car was parked at a coffee shop. actually the passenger side rear has been hit 3 times while left parked. its very very annoying to keep having to send it to a body shop and paying deductible.

the front fender was smashed by a relative over for the weekend who was pulling out of the driveway.

so i was going to have this paid for myself since i need a new front bumper and was gona do it all at once.

i found out new front fender is only 200$. i think i may just repair that one and leave the small dents in the rear. its just minor cosmetics i guess.

That's gay. So your car got hit 5x. Do people know how to drive or what?

If you get the wide fenders then it sounds like you will have more problems in the parkade. You should slim your car down a couple of inches.
