Nice! I also washed and waxed this weekend as well. I did accidentally get a lil' bit of wax on my R1 lip..any idea how to remove it completely? I scrubbed with damped towel and most of it is gone...any ideas?

Anyhow, nice VR!

nice man!!

how old is your paint? original? repaint?

and how is the car under direct sunlight?

cause when im done washing and waxing (mothers carnuba wax) my car, the car glistens under shade but sometimes when i bring it under sunlight, the car shows its flaws like swirls..i really hate the damn swirls..

and do you do all the polishing/waxing by hand or do you use a buffer?

Hi, I tried using warm water but I'll try hot, hot water this time. Also, a fellow member suggested "Back to Black"...ever heard? Anyhow, I don't want to weigh down your post thread, this is your thread! Your car looks great! Very shiny.

car looks good, however, those tires are not the correct size. Way too small for an FD.

Yeah they look a little small, but the wheel gap makes them look even smaller..

i tried using back to black... it sorta works for a few days then it looses it's blackness and it shows up agian ( i also have wax on my lip, i think either me or the previous owner smacked the lip agianst the curb a few times and now its angled outward and scratched). So the back to black sorta works but don't waste your money on it unless u want to apply it often.

Not necessarily ^^
I just got a bottle of Back to Black, and it works perfect. Removed excess wax for me, and it hasn't come back or anything. Had it for about 2 weeks. Make sure you give it time dry, then buff off with a micro fiber cloth...

Nice VR by the way.... then again I am biased!
