What do you pump with

This afternoon i finally saw someone else in my area with a 7. He was at a gass station pumping it with premium. Possibly a road trip guy since he was not shaven, wrinckled cloths, and was streching a lot, or could have been a wake up, fill the car before the paper kind of guy. So i ask you all, what do you pump your car with.

Toluene to increase octane

i was goign to start a thread on this, but anyone wiht an RX7 use toluene to increase octane? I know of many message boards that worship it. if you look at it chemically it's almost exactly teh same as gasoline, and is even a main component of it. it's C6H7 if i remember correctly and a pure hydrocarbon. it has an octane rating of 114 R+M/2. People normally put one gallon of this and a coulple ounces of some oiling fluid. You can buy it for around 10 bucks a gallon. Or you could use xylene which is 117octane. Both of which are avaiable at paint shops.

Also, octane booster is basicaly what i said above, just that it costs just as much but for only 16oz.

I use 93 or Sunoco 94. The sunoco by my house also has 101 octane racing fuel. Maybe I'll try that someday...

Course when I bring it out to colorado, the best I'll be able to do is 91

93 only.

Guys, *be careful* where you get gas. I've heard of stations where the inbred truck driver that fills the tanks will fill them backwards--thus 93 becomes 87, and vice versa. Can you cay cracked apex seal?

I'd *highly* recommend getting 94 Sunoco whenever possible.

darn cali only gets 91...ARG

i'd like to jump in and say that octane booster doesn't really work. It can add at most 7points to your octane. this means 91 goes to 91.7 AT MOST. Go buy some toluene and add 2 oz of marvel mystery oil

Ditto, unless the low fuel light is on and there's no Sunoco around, then it's 93. What's with this 91 **** in CA?
