I usually have my girl hold my water, but she always complains. So i was wondering what you guys use. I use to use one of those Kragen cupholders with a hook that you put in the window with my second gen. And I've always had someone hold it or i would put it in the rear passenger side compartment in my FD

to be honest, i dont eat, drink or smoke in my FD. Long trips if i need to eat ill go inside the resturant or if i need a drink ill stop at a gas station for a couple minutes.
in my Subaru tho, hah! theres so much ash on the floor its hard to tell if the carpets black or gray :P Actually, in my Subaru, since i dont have a decent cupholder, i have an old rotor from a 13B-RE thats was torn up by a broken apex seal, so i polished it up and i sit it in the passenger foot well. It holds every cup you can imagine, and it weighs enough that its stable so even taking turns at more than 70 itll stay put.

I usually bring a drink that's in a bottle if I am going to be drinking in the Fd... that way I can just place it between me and the center console without worrying it might tip over and spill.
And if there's the emergency drink (like McDonald's), I usually just crotch it, hoping it won't get too cold.
