The new Viper ACR (The one built for the club racer) Has a cupholder. So you may want to call up dodge and let them know that the viper ACR is not a "real" s[orts car to you because it has cupholders. Evrybody that says they NEVER eat or drink in the car is lieing out their ***'s. Simple as that. It's a damn car not a surgical scrub room.

pure sports car: (definition)- rear wheel drive, no radio & no cup holders.
the fd has 1 of 3
the viper ACR has 3 of 3

i should have used the term "pure" instead of "real", in my previous post

i dont make the rules, and u dont have to follow em

Real Sports cars

If you really want to get absurd, real sports cars don't have AC, cruise control, stereos, etc., etc., etc.

In that case, I don't want a "real sports car" ... I already have a racecar.

i would use the rear bins but one is full, it has couple extra bottles of oil, premix, funnel, and measuring cup. the other has my battery in it...

i just make the passenger hold it for me or if its capped i lay it on the seat closed up tight. i try to use only bottles that you can put a lid always for sodas, water, etc.

Wow, Didn't realize manlyness was determined by whether or not you have cup holders..hmm good to know. Seems you get offended when someone else makes a statement contrary to yours.

{pure sports car: (definition)- rear wheel drive, no radio & no cup holders.}

What is the source of this definition?

Thanks for playing.

No need for Cup holders, I dont let anyone drink, smoke or eat in the FD. Its not a Family Station Wagon but thats just my point of view

i keep one of those fast food cup holders in my cargo bin. they're made of cardboard and they hold 4 drinks... i usually wedge it against a bookbag on the floor of the passenger side of the car. not sure how it works for long trips, but for the .7 miles from bojangles to my office it works great

Place in between legs and clench. This method i not reccomended if the contents are hot unless placed in a sealed insulated container. Although in the winter a hot cup of soup may be placed here while the car is warming up. mmmm soup...

in my Subaru tho, hah! theres so much ash on the floor its hard to tell if the carpets black or gray :P Actually, in my Subaru, since i dont have a decent cupholder, i have an old rotor from a 13B-RE thats was torn up by a broken apex seal, so i polished it up and i sit it in the passenger foot well. It holds every cup you can imagine, and it weighs enough that its stable so even taking turns at more than 70 itll stay put.
YEAP NO EATING INSIDE THE FD.. well sometimes

oh and i HAVE A CUP HOLDer in there by my DVD but the dam screen is on the way! plus i would hate to drop some in there grrrrrrr.

best place though. between your legs..:

I use this - i can have anything in the FD (coffee, tea, water, whatever) with NO worries when it comes to spillage, as it does NOT leak...ever

DRINKS IN THE CAR ARE YOU CRAZY?!

seriously i just use my legs. provided the cup has a top i can drive. but if its an open top coffee i suggest not taking a fast corner. seriously make sure its got a straw and is a cold beverage if your drifting.

Bought from pepboys for .99 cents LOL

Works fine. Sometimes when you pull the drink out of the cupholder, the cupholder comes out with it lol so i broke some of the inner tabs that hold the drink in so that it doesnt do that.

Works fine for me.

I took a cup holder I bought at Target and modified it so it would catch on the right side of the console where the parking brake lever is. When I'm not using it I keep it in the storage bin.
