A 3rotor would be awesome but I know Pettit charges over double what you are willing to spend.

Yeah if you want to keep it under 15k no way is a 3 rotor in the picture. Do a search and find out what it actually costs.

If you want to stay under 15k with big power(500hp+) do a BP T88'd(or similar) 13B..

if you need to ask if you should go 3 rotor, then the answer is no, do not go for 3 rotor j/k, yes i think you should go 3 rotor, go to www.pettitracing.com all you need is about $25,000 more and its yours. 40k isn't that bad, i think you should do it, just save up for a little more.

well I know here in Japan you can get a built 3 rotor all done up for about $10,000. BUT getting it into your car is another thing...

NO way could you get it running at peak preformance at 15 grand unless you do it right yourself. Someone made a spreadsheet of all the stuff you need to make it and have it running properly. Check out the 3 rotor forum.

i am not too sure about pettit's 20B setup. my friends and i were looking at it and for 40k you better be able to break into the 9's. i know the banzai setup is suppoed to be more of a "what the factory should've done", but i think that one could do the mods cheaper and with more performance. dont get me wrong, the pettit setup is gorgeous and fast. i am just saying that if somebody else can do it . . . . so can you!

i think that petits 20b setup is perfect except for the price. So long as its reliable it's good.

i would hope the reliability is good. id just like to see more options on the the intake for instance. im all about good cai kits. i dont know. i just dont know about spending 45000 on a car that does not run in the 9's. . . at least thats what was noted in the article. . . um i think it was in scc. not sure. they did say, however; that the performance envelope wasnt even pushed yet, so............

i have no reason to say it wont get into the 9's. i said that the testing that was seen in the article i read was in the 11's, but they said it wasnt even pushed to its limits. they mustve been afraid. i just dont like the idea that i have to spend 45k to get a car that will only go to the 11's. did i read a bad article? are they wrong? im sure that car is fast, but 45k is a lot of money to spend!! even though, sideways in 5th gear is a very nice feature for that kind of cash. man, thats crazy!! i couldnt even imagine. i would go to the 20b forum and ask if anybody has done the swap successfully and without having to spend that much money. anything can be done cheaper, ya know. . . well, almost anything. hehe

I don't want to sound like a bitch or anything...but peoples sigs are getting WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too big. I think the rules say it has to be 10 lines or less....

Not that its a really big deal...but a link to a webpage would be nice instead of scrolling 10 pages to get through RIKKI'S mods list

Okay I'll stop bitching now...

BTW, nice mods list RIKKI

I've talked to a guy about this and he said he's ran the numbers and thinks he could build one for around 15k. I don't know if he left out labor or what. That's just what he said. He's been building rotarys for a extremely long time too.

Man whenever i go to petits webpage and look at the banzai car i want it. Its basically how i want my car to be. Nice fender flares, big a$$ rear tires, and 550 RWHP!!!!! a great street car. its clean and simple, so fresh and so clean. all i would add then is a spoiler...then id have a complete car.
