Doubt 1000cc secondaries will cut it for the 35r. I'd go with either the older design 1680cc's or the newer 2200's. From what I understand the 2200s are more responsive and "sophisticated" than the 1680's?

Agree. I know the V8 swap isn't cared for by many on this forum, but if that is your goal, this is your answer.

You could definitely get a very fast street car made with $10,000 if you go the V8 route. That's definitely more than what mine cost to put together.

FWIW, mine makes 430whp/410wtq and goes 11.6@122mph on pump gas and 19" street tires. It's been running without a single hicccup (dead reliable) for 45,000 miles.

330wtq at 2200rpm is a blast...

Yea, LS1's are boring and overdone, but if you want BIG power + reliability (and pump gas) you're not going to get there with the rotary.

If I were to do it again, I'd do an LS2 and a procharger (plus all the bolt ons) at 5-8psi. That'd make 600whp/600wtq on pump gas and be reliable as the day she rolled out of the factory (with the right tune).

... however, I still stand by doing something productive with the money instead of dumping it into something that will only lose value (at least that kind of money).

Add some sort of brake upgrade to that list, too. FD's stop great stock but 400whp gets you into triple digits real quick and on the street, you need to get out of the triples faster than you get there.

Even if you just do braided lines, slotted rotors, some aggressive street pads and quality fluid, it will make a big difference. Best $700 you can spend.

If you are looking for injectors, take a look @ ID (Injector Dynamics) injectors from Yaw Power.

They are hands down a performance LOGGED injector.

Many customers at my friend's shop have been using them crime supras to STI's

each injector is dynamically flow tested and paired with close tolerance to one another.

They make tuning much easier, safer & successful.

And spend more money on coilovers, for godsake (at least go for Stance or Tien)
