isnt their a commemorative plate for the bathrust just like the spirit-r that says 1 out of such amount? If so he should be able to provide a picture of that. Pretty hard to tell from the pics he provided though.

I'd be scared of it. It's a real right hand drive car (you can see where the brake master cylinder is in the engine pic), but that simply means 1 of 2 things. Either someone took an FD and hacked it up with a JDM front clip to make it right hand drive, or someone illegally put a US VIN plate on a JDM car. Either way, there's no way in hell that car is legal.

Not to mention I wouldn't want to pay $32,000 for a car when the seller can't seem to afford a digital camera.

Either a real hack job car, or it's a scam.

Dale

Actually, it was '94: http://www.rx7.net.nz/fd-jp-models.html

Also, if I'm not mistaken, the Bathurst models were not "JDM" models, but were sold as new only in the Australian market. (Not directed at you, efiniste; too many people here in the U.S. throw around the "RHDJDM" term like it means something special)

Nice list, although I'm not convinced as to its accuracy. For instance, my car has a build date of Oct '95 yet is pre the refinements listed for March '95.

Re the Australian models, are you thinking of the SP?

I think the changes listed under a particular month represent when they first took effect during production, thus the difference in your car's build date.

For the most part, yes, but the Aussie forum member with the blow-off-valve-sounding username corrected me.
