What is this bumper? and oil thermostat? how to mount it?

Can someone tell me what front bumper, or better yet, what body kit this is? i super jelly on this and want to source it out.

also

im doing a dual oil cooler setup and people mount the thermostat in different places. Would it be better to mount it so that if it opens, it flows through both oil coolers?

or

mount it so that when it opens, it flows through one and is always flowing through the other?

25row coolers.

Thanks!

Pettit makes a fiberglass version that a buddy had and was in decent shape. I believe member Moconnor has had one for sale in Cali forever for like $400. The Pettit will fit better than most cheap aero companies parts.

Definitely either a Mazdaspeed GTC or replica.

Have decided to keep mine so it is not for sale. I have realized that I am super jelly on it!

Impressive!

Mazdaspeed front bumper, sideskirts, wing and Burnout fenders front and rear. Someone spent some MONEY on that ****.

That's a GTC bumper, and a MS 15th anniversary rear wing. I dont recognize the sides (they are definitely NOT mazdaspeed but resemble the GTC sides), fenders are the burnouts.

As far as thermostat mounting, you can mount it to the motor with a bracket, or mount it on the frame rail etc with a little slack to account for engine movement.

As far as oil flow, yes it must be sealed off from the coolers until the oil reaches the proper temp. The oil flow originates at the front cover and returns to the oil filter pedestal. If you're using the mocal thermostat (very reliable, and the most popular choice for aftermarket cooler setups) you'll want the black bolts facing the driver side frame rail. The two -10 connections facing rearward go to the front cover and oil pedestal (direct path from the front cover to the oil pedestal when the thermostat is closed), and the two front facing -10 connections go to the coolers (when the thermostat is opened the internal valve moves to divert the oil flow in a "U" from the front cover, to the coolers, return from the coolers, and out to the filter pedestal.

I think real Mazdaspeed GTC becuz it's Janpan (you might see background),
so they don't need replica like in US
Even it's replica, unlike cheap cheap knot out ED replica.

Looks like my car! White with the full gtc kit, but I have mazdaspeed rims on mine. The front bumper doesn't look good without the light covers. There was a site that made replicas covers but I can't find that site anymore. You can get the real one from RHDJapan for $360 I think.

I have the SakeBomb Garage 25-row kit which mounts the thermostate right off the front cover. Great spot but the A/C belt kind of gets in the way so you have to loosen it to tighten the AN fittings. Not a big deal though and really a great spot IMO.
