what is the AWS system?

what is the AWS system? and what does it have to do with the Greddy Elbow? and a link to "How To Install Greddy Elbow" Would Be Awsome Guys

its a system that warms up the cat for emission purposes. Check the FAQ for more info

Accelerated Warming System. On the stock elbow, there's a hose related to this system. If you install the GReddy elbow, you'll need to eliminate or plug up the hose because there's no fitting for it on the GReddy.

Hey 7_Rocket how is life in Toronto? I was hoping to move there. I love the roads and how smooth it is. is it hard to find a job there?

Errr, dunno. I don't worry about emissions where I live. If your car is already warm when you go in for testing, I can't imagine it making a difference. There's people here who know more than I about it.

BTW mrb63083 what are the standards fro emmisions in texas and do you live in houston?

Honestly, I don't know the numbers off hand. All I remember is it passed very well. No, I live in the Dallas area.

Oh, and by the way, I didn't really remove it. I just got a Greddy FMIC with the Greddy elbow. I plugged the hose the original elbow connected to for the AWS.

It will (read should) have no bearing on any emissions testing anywhere.
