What AFR Goals should I have?

With a DP, MP, CB, IC, and Intake (not that i think any mod should matter to goals), what should my target Air Fuel Ratios be.

I've heard, 14.5 for any RPM in vacuum, 13.0 at 0psi, and 11.1 in any boost. Sound good?

11:1 to 11.5:1 is about optimal in boost.

10.5-10.8 is safer, but will be slightly rich in boost.

Not too sure about the vacuum and 0psi numbers though.. sorry.

Depends on your engine management system. I know that if you try to run 14.7 a/f's on the Power FC, you'll get the infamous idle surging that everybody so dearly enjoys.

I tuned my 13.0 under boost. 12.~ at 0 boost and 11.0 to 11.2 boosting.

Thanks Van, I'm using the AEM EMS with the AEM Uego Wideband. Do your ratios taper at all? or is it strictly something like this:

Just to clarify, I think you meant 13.0 in vacuum, not boost.

I think he meant UNDER boost, as in, the pressure that is beneath boost, ie- vacuum

This is from the Datalogit yahoo group.. If you do some math on the injector values in the PFC you get this table of AFRs.. it's 20x20.

Boost is on the left, RPM is on the top.

haha...you will always be infamous for that "surging". Trying to catch me on AIM is difficult, but not impossible....kind of like fixing an idle surge!

With my turbo, I get a very abrupt boost change i.e. 4500 rpms I'm only making .2~.4 kg/cm2 but as soon as 4800~rpms comes around I'm at 1.0 kg/cm2 and by 5000 rpms I'm at 1.3 kg/cm2.

Basically, I don't have a tapered style boost curve but I'd rather sacrifice some power in that area vs. blowing another engine.
