Nice ride,

Got any more pictures of the Bel Air? What are the plans for it? Your FD is way nice too. Nice to see someone else covering both ends of the spectrum... Cruiser, and a speedster.

Contour SVT is a really BADASS daily driver! I love those cars! They drive soooo good. You know what really helps those cars? An airfilter.....wakes them up bigtime!

You have a very clean FD! You should be very proud of that! It looks to be one of the cleaner ones that I've seen. I like the interior trim pieces...very subtle and very clean indeed. Sometimes more is not always better

Yeah I like those kind of cars too. The only thing is that I had a guy come into the shop once and want me to cut the back deck of his Bel Air to put 6x9's in it. I refused to do it....and he understood.

That is my daily driver too!

I have a tropic green one. It is a great daily driver...but I feel like I am sitting up so high after I drive my 7. Also, the car is so slow in comparision.

But...it is a fun daily driver, that you can pile 3-4 friends in if you need to.

Later,
Patrick

Not much to look at now. But runs great. Im planning a total restoration. It will never be showroom quality. But it will look good. I wanted to get everything recromed, but its pig iron or something like that. I sent the right bullet in as youll see in the bottome pic. They cant recrome it. So all the crome will be new, I have a book that sells authentic parts. You can almost build a chevy from the ground up out of this thing....well anyway..funny thing is, back in '65 my father bought this for $10. Five more years and Ill have it paid off

I loved this plate, My last name is Rock...so it fit nicely... "Chevy, like a rock"

what is that gunmetal color paint??
Yup. Looks great..its a good move to make. Easy and well worth it.

Yes it is..i love it. But hard times in money means one car has to go. Ill sell my house before I get rid of my 7. And yeah...i have a K&N airfilter on it..man it sounds so damn cool with an open intake Im going to be very sad to see it go.

BTW, how much u askin for it? That would be a terrific daily driver.
Its got 55,5xx miles. Clean as can be, also well pampered. Im asking 12,500 on autotrader. But here id say 11,300 is as low as im going to go.

Thanks for the comments. One day Ill have to get some actuall "good" pictures of it up. Thanks guys

Thanks. Heres the link. https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=13831

I used the TS-38 Gun Metal. It was a breeze and really paid off I think. I got the paint from the local hobbie shop.
