Bobby, the car looks great. Love the rims. Also glad to hear everything is in great running condition. May I ask what cat you put on the car and where you located it? You might know that is a dilemma for me as I put one on about a year ago and promptly melted it right off

Be safe and I anxiously look forward to the updates!

For everyone else, let's donate some more. His costs are going to be over $2,000 easy for this so pony up some more greenbacks. I see there are more than a few guys that have commented in the recent past about donations in this thread that do not have their names on the list. How about throwing over a few bucks Bobby's way?

Dave,

occasionally people use their wives/friends addresses to send paypal. Also, when viewing screennames on a forum it can be tough to correlate this with a 'real life' name.

I'm sure that all who would like to donate to the cause have done so. The purpose of this thread is to encourage all kinds of support for Bobby.....anything monetary is icing on the cake

If you would like to throw a few more bucks Bobby's way, you know the paypal

In the meantime, Mr. Big Power 20B has acquired another awesome sponsor with killer products, stay tuned for an update

$50.00 Sent. Good luck Bobby! I know I am not as involved with the community as I was in years past but still great seeing Bobby doing this. I remember him being at one of our Speed For Sale events about 7-8 years ago now. Car has come a long way and is making some serious power on 93 octane last I talked with him. It is truly great to see some one stick with it and actually drive the wheels off their car. Ive seen him track, drag race and road race it over and over again. Best of luck man and be safe on your journey!

Rich, I'm keeping the thread bumped up so others can see it and decide if they wish to donate. I am sure there are others that will chip in more money and that never hurts. Seems to be working, right?

Bobby.... make sure and bring some fuel additive or race gas along. Best pump gas available in Phoenix is 91 octane. A few stations used to have race gas in the pumps. I'll have to do some scouting to see what's still available. Many have E85. Just not sure how many still have race gas and where they're located. Just an FYI!

The thread hasn't moved off the front page since it was created, so the bumps aren't really needed. But I'm sure you're doing what you can to help out

In other news, we're closing in on $800...... some new contributors:

Rotaryxs (is that you Big John?)
John Ambrosio/BigBrosioPerformance
Elliott White/Turblown
David Jerome

I'd say with all the vendor sponsors and guys who PP'ed Bobby directly, he's way over $1000. Awesome effort by the whole community!

SakeBomb Garage is happy to help Bobby however we can. We love seeing rotary powered cars on the track (bonus points for 20B powered ones) In competitive events like this, safety is paramount. No RX-7, especially a high powered 20B beast like Bobby's should be left unprotected from fire. We donated our passenger seat extinguisher mount with a black lanyard, and Bobby has chosen one of our 2.5 lb Halon extinguishers for the best protection within arms reach!

The package is on it's way directly to his hotel since it would not have reached him in time otherwise Good luck this weekend!

A few shots of what's on the way to him.

I just PayPal 100$ more... Hope it helps out in some way :-)

Hey David Hayes! I really want to make it down to dgrr it's a 20 hour drive... So we have been prepping for it... Making some last minute modification to the car... Custom wheels, custom recaro RZ seats, dual fuel bosh 044 pumps, 2200cc secondary injectors, AN fittings with harline and soft(nylon) lines... Etc, etc i don't think I will have time to put all the parts in (including BBK that I just ordered) but I left that weekend open so I can make the drive down with Alex and hopefully other forum members.

I realy look forward to see all you guys! It's been a while!

I hope everything goes well with Bobby! Show them what our community is capable of producing!!
