You can make good power with a highflow cat and stock twins, and it keeps your potential boost creep issues at bay.

I'm running complete open exhaust with all supporting mods along with even more mods and mods to support those mods , and I swear if it creeps one freakin time after I break the motor in, I'm jerking that damn mid pipe off and slapping on a high flow cat and I will NEVER look back.

There is just no sense in risking it all for a couple more HP and a flame thrower show for a street car that is only going to be making moderate power levels, but I am willing to give it a chance.....but only one.

So I just got to keep my eye on the boost gauge and the controller I run on low boost all the time. I barley turn it up. I am going to get all these mods put on in a week. So what should i do if there is a boost creep or how would i know??

You'll know when your boost rises too high, too fast, and you blow your motor

My wastegate was ported, doesn't do a damn thing... even when I capped off the actuator (it's supposed to limit boost to 7psi), it didn't even slow it down.

There's only so much you can do with the stock waste gate flapper. Some have even welded a larger door to the arm so the hole could be made even larger. For the OP, you can set your boost level for 7psi. All day long if the waste hate port isn't large enough to dump the excess pressure you will get creep.

Mine isn't creep, it's just all-out ridiculousness. Shoots past 7psi as if it were any other number, right to 15.

But it really doesn't matter what you limit your boost setting to, it has zero effect on it creeping. If you could limit it to 1psi of boost, it would still creep to 15psi if that's what it's already doing.

If the actuator is capped off, the boost should not go over 7psi. If it is going to creep, it should hesitate at 7, then gradually hit XXpsi.

Mine goes to 15 as if that was what I had it set to.

If it doesn't keep climbing with RPM, I think you have a mechanical issue, not creep.
