Bumper installation

I recently took off my driver's side fender to align the bumper, fender, and hood better from a past accident. In doing so, I am having trouble re-connecting the bumper to the fender. According to the FSM it appears that there is a plate that holds 3 bolts to connect the front bumper. In my car I have the plate, but the bolts appear to be broken off, and I have thumb screws instead.

Can anyone confirm that the plate has studs connected to it, or is my set up correct with the thumb screws?

Someone JLd your original bumper. It is held on by the plate and studs - not "thumbscrews"
