warning lights on????

I just purchased a 93 rx7 touring. the car is running fine, but the oil warning, coolant warning, overheat exhaust, battery and check engine lights stay on while car is running. the car has down pipe, highflow cat, and exhaust. the motor is also street ported.

probably the fact that the stock computer is being used...if thats the case then thats normal since the stock computer cant handle the excess air flow, and thinks the motor is messed up...i would check that first, U MUST RUN A GOOD after market computer on that engine, or u will detroy the apex seals, go with an apexi fc or run a new safc @ from apexi, it allows u to change the fuel curves manually, matter of fact i have new 1 posted for sale...trust me if u dont have either 1 of these u will damage the engine

Most likely the alternator. Also make sure to check the battery.

The second post from you that doesn't make sense...

I'd check to make sure the alternator is working. That is a typical problem when the alternator quits and/or the belt breaks.

99.99% it's the alternator. I had the alternator belt snap on me during driving, and the instrument cluster lit up like a christmas tree lol.

I can guarantee its related to the alternator. The reason that all of the lights are on is because the sensors arent receving enough power for them to work(or send signal to the ECU). In effect, its the same scenario as when you JUST turn the ignition on in your car. If you'll notice....ALL of the same lights are on...(ABS, check coolant, oil level, battery, CEL)

Mine was charging at 10V when i had the same problem
