Wrong section

Either post a "wanted to buy" add in the 3rd gen parts for sale section, or call Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda to get a new wiring harness. 888.533.3400. Be prepared to pay about $850 for it...

i rewrapped mine. it was a fun process and if you are moderately knowledgable on electronics, its a breeze. i unwrapped mine, checked all the wires for cuts etc. addressed cracked and broken connectors. resistance checked every wire (not that hard actually) then rewrapped it.

What condition is it in? particularly the connectors? if the wrapping is crap, thats okay. Its the connectors that make or break you.

Information you NEED to know is located here^^. Ray Crowe at Malloy mazda will be your absolute CHEAPEST new oem part resource. Program his phone number into your phone.

And please check the "for sale" section for items before posting something like this again. If I remember correctly I found a few harnesses used with low miles in there for around $350-400 recently.

Rewrapping is an option if you're only having issues with the jacketing.

In most cases the wiring harness doesn't get replaced until the connectors are crumbling and the insulation around each wire is brittle and cracking to create shorts. In this situation the only reasonable thing to do it replace it.

If you do replace it I recommend re-wrapping it with silicone self-fusing tape. Especially those vinyl sleeves that go out to the solenoid connectors and stuff, they just cook brittle and form pinch points to destroy the wiring. Cut those sleeves off and replace with silicone.

Not $750 anymore. $850 sounds about right, Mazda always ups their prices each year. Not Ray's fault - he'll get you the best price he can.
