walbro fuel pump compatible?

i have a walbro 255lph high flow pump. i had it in my 95 eclipse gsx when i had my 20g turbo setup. i was looking at the rx7 store and the one they have looks pretty much like the one i already have so just wondering if anyone knows if it's the same one or not. hmmmm.....would be nice to not have to worry about needing to buy one when i get me a car

walbro only made two pumps ,190 and 255. which one do you have? they both will work on the FD, you need the wiring kit and the fuel pickup filter.

i have a walbro 255lph high flow pump.
it already has the pickup filter on it. anyone know where i can get the wiring? don't have the pump here in front of me at the moment but wonder if it's something where i can add some connector's to the end of the wires instead.

oh yeah, and would one 255 lph highflow pump do if i'm shooting for around 400-450 horsepower? or would i need 2? in another thread i started, someone told me i should get 2 of these pumps. just wondering cause i know if i had just one of these pumps, it would support the 600 horsepower i'd be shooting for with four 720cc injectors on an eclipse.

Cool I guess I am not the only one leaving the DSM area.

V8s_are_slow: Did you ever get it installed? What other parts have you been able to swap from the DSM to the FD? I crashed my Eclipse about a month ago and got me a 1993 RX-7. I am trying to get rid of all the parts that I don't need and keep the ones I may.

LOL, thats too funny. I just got rid of my 1G GSX like a couple months ago, and ended up getting this 93 7 that i have been working on for this guy for about a year. Is the walbro 255 better than the supra TT pump??

I have seen that the walbro 255 can handle up to 500 HP.

supra's fuel pump is better than walbro. It flows better and it's also a better brand.

The Walbro pump is bad *** no matter what. I have made 490rwhp in my blower car (name) with a 255 in tank pump no add on. If you are in doubt call CPR Racing I belive he carries a warranty on his pumps. The number is 248-398-2397 or go to the website www.cprracing.com. Talk to Rich.
