Walbro ???

Is it safe to run the walbro fuel pump without a fuel pressure regulator, or will I see a huge increase in fuel pressure over the stock level?

I'm willing to bet it won't start without a FPR running either a walbro, or the stock fuel pump.

you didn't say an aftermarket FPR you said an FPR. If you are asking is the walbro will run with the stock FPR, yes it will, and just fine.

Yeah the stock FPR actually does a pretty good job.
