Wahoo, pics of my engine bay!

Got back late last night from picking up my car at MZM Performance in Austin, TX. They put in a Apexi single, along with my CWR IC and other supporting parts. DP and LIM were ceramic coated black, and the turbo ceramic coated 'polished silver'.

All the other polished parts are courtesy of Twinturboteddy here on the Forum.

MZM also swapped out the auto tranny for a manual, so I'm rowing my own gears now, hehe. I can't begin to professionalism of TTT and the guys at MZM - they really do WORLD CLASS WORK! Thier attention to detail is amazing. MZM's shop is extremely well organized and clean - and I whole heartedly recommend them to anyone.

Stupid photo hosting service shrinks all the pics, but gives you an idea.

Enjoy!

Holy crap, I didn't know you would do all that crap.

Nice job on getting everything together. I was wondering if you received everything back in time.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Still a bit more detail cleaning to do under the hood, and I want to swap out all the lines I can to SS braided, and reroute/hide the factory wiring somehow.

Gonna take all the various brackets off too, and have them powdercoated black. Thinking about swapping the blue silicon for black silicon too, if I get tired of the color, hehe.

Need to get my Cusco brace on too, and my Aquamist water injection heh heh...

Hehe, whoever emailed me with 'Conversion' in the subject line (I'm assuming you are asking about the tranny conversion), Private Message me as that your mail was infected with a virus and got deleted.

Oh, BTW - that reminds me. For all those CWR IC owners w/o ducts (which is basically everyone from what I understand) - rejoice, as that a supposedly affordable FG (and maybe CF version I guess) replacement duct is in the works.

Not sure if its already known and is being discussed (or even if I should say anything, hehe), but there it is. I'm sure the parties responsible will make themselves know soon. Need mine before I go back for dyno tuning!

I'm undecided as to how/what I want to use to trigger the IC puller fan. Probably use a relay triggered by the radiator fan - the idea being that the radiator comes on typically in low speed situations when less airflow is available, same as the IC.

What I really want to do is have it triggered by a set air intake temperature. The Omori line of guages would have been perfect, as that many of thier electric gauges have an electrical signal output corresponding to to the adjustable warning LED (to use to trigger a relay)- except thier damn air intake temp gauge - whah!

I'm thinking the first idea is a simpler solution, and should work well.

Hehe, yeah - it was pretty 'jacked' when you were here. Still have to put together the interior. Got gmonsen sending me a 95 dash and have to put that glass moonroof in to. BTW, thanks for the tranny! Shifts sweet!

All the credit goes to the TTT and MZM of course. I just worked the check book. After everything gets buttoned up, gonna head up there!
