Angry VR R1 soon to go down the drain

I was talking to my friend. She told me her boss just bought his 15 year old son a VR R1. He is going to be getting his license within a few months.

Lovely, isn't it?

I'll keep my eyes open for the "salvage titled" car on ebay in the next few months. such a shame, because an FD is a terrible thing to waste!

There are some good young 7 drivers out there, they are usually highly knowledged in rotaries and 7's ... but, there are some who don't deserve them.

true but at the same time there are a **** load of older drivers probably more in number but not in % that don't deserve them. you should treat each one individually, but **** if he does **** it up you can say i told u so :p

im talking about you guys' reactions.

i know about 16 year olds that drive cars that will absolutely rip a stock or even moderately modded FD a new *******. im talking about Vipers, 3.2 liter NSXs, 10 second F-Bodies, Porsche 911, McLeran F1 (his dad's), Ferrari 355, 360, and F50 (once again, his dad's. he is a Ferrari collector and owns a little mom 'n pop computer company named Cisco Systems)...all driven by 16 year olds. not one accident by any of them.

i have said it numerous times before, and i will say it again: fast cars do not kill people....irresponsible drivers kill people.

Hey, im 16 and I have an FD R1. I don't know that much about Rotaries and I wouldn't call myself and incredible driver, but I did not take it from my dad for my birthday or anything, I worked very hard to afford it so I think if I want one, and I maintain it properly, its nobodies business which car I choose to buy but hey,I almost bought a 1998 Corvette Z06, so I consider the FD pretty tame

also, aside from from crazy fast cars, i know of 16/17 year olds that drive cars that the average person cannot afford. cars like 2001 CL600 (Brabus body kit, rims, and exhaust system), SL500, numerous Benz S-Classes, GS400, and Porsche Boxter. all these cars have more than enough power to get the driver into **** loads of trouble, and all cost a heafty sum of money, but there has been not one accident (well, a small fender-bender involving the SL500, but she got rear ended, so not her fault).

but then again...i know of 16 year old that have driven base, non-vtec Civics, Saturns, and Geos, and had them totaled.

No ****.

and Mike, you are the one talking about supposedly immature drivers, when you are the one bragging about how you reach 100+ MPH speeds daily in your FD.

also, you wouldnt consider an FD a "fast" car would you?? i mean...half the time, it will only be running on one turbo and/or one rotor!
