is one of the adapters to the t-5 t-56 trans to the rotary bellhousing not to mention the search button does wonders w/ a little time i did some research about it awhile ago unfortunatlly i forgot half of it by now now here is one adapter but i had found another somewhere on the forums dont remember where

kiwi racing out of austraila makes an adapter to bolt a supra 6 spd to an fd. to get away from the powerplant frame, solid mount the tranny, and a-spec makes a differential solid mount. problem solved

There is no point to a 6-speed on a street driven FD....
Besides all of this, I doubt the gear ratios in the Viper T-56 are at all suited to an FD's powerband. You are going to end up with taller ratios than stock (taller = slower) and a nearly unusable 6th gear.

Not sure why it's important to get away from the PPF, either. The car chassis was designed with the fact that the PPF would handle all drivetrain torque. I can't believe for a moment that it would be better to throw the PPF away. Even if you managed to reinforce that section of chassis, it's going to be heavier than using the PPF concept.

I'll sell you my tranny for cheap, but you'd have to rebuild it. It just grinds in high rpm shifting in 2nd and 3rd. It will rarely, and when I say rarely, I mean like maybe once a month grind in 5th. I think the only thing that would kill my deal, is you paying for shipping.

No it's not Turbo'd
I belive also that the clutch in the FD is a "Pull" setup and the T56 is a Push setup, so you have to re-do the clutch slave cylinder, or at least you do on a V8 Swap.... besides the bellhousing and supports, you might also have to re-route or create custum piping for exhaust... since things get tight in that area...

every 6 spd car ive driven in ive just like the tighter gear ratios. and as far as weight goes, the ppf weighs a decent amount, and ive seen people mount a solid mount brace straight across, as well for the rear diff, wich i have no personal experience with how they affect the car, but have seen it done on track cars and i would think it would cut weight down a bit

You are talking about pure track cars with drivetrain parts bolted rigidly to the chassis. Even some of the hardcore idiots on this forum wouldn't like that for driving on the street.

I have the JDM .806 5th gear. Going from 4th to 5th now is a dream with better high speed acceleration. It perfectly matches the step up from 4th. But it does limit top speed; not important in the USA. If you lived in Germany, having a 6th at the original 5th .719 would be needed.
