If you have a leak in that area, depending on the size of the leak you might experience a rough idle, low vacuum and fuel odor.

The LIM gasket is the one between the core motor and the Lower Intake Manifold.

which other causes. the car idles hunting between 1000-1500 and when i cold start it the car is fine as long as the electronic choke is on and after then erv start hinting and black smoke starts comming from exaust. even if i set it to idle at 3000 rpm still it will hunt between 3000-3500 rpm. car hesitates between 5000-6000 rev but if i keep pulling it for some time lets say a few miles the hesitation disapears

I circled the wrong gasket. The one I circled is the LIM to UIM gasket, which could also leak vacuum. As Mahjik indicated, the LIM gasket is beneath the area I marked. You follow the LIM down to the engine block. Sorry.

My vacuum at idle is at least 19 in/hg depending on RPM it's idling at.

9 in/hg seems awfully low.

Problem Found

well the hesitation was due to the pipe from the map sensor connecting to the intake manifold was leaking fixed that.

and the car hunting for idle is due to the screw on the right side of the thortolle body i noticed it was loosened so much that it was hanging to the fiting. i started the car and pushed the butterffly it was attached to down wards with my hand and it fixed the problem. now i tightened it a little clockwise as much as easily possible with the hand and now with head lights on the problem is fixed but with head lights of the proble is still there any idea what this screw does and how much to tighten it
