Angry vacuum question

ok if your looking down on your y-pipe there is this little vacuum line that goes in on the far left side...where does that thing go??...i cant find it in the workshop manual..?...please help

A little more detail would help....from standing at the passenger side fender, the left two vacuum lines run to the LIM, for the right two vacuum lines -- one also runs to the LIM, the other goes to the pressure chamber and contains a check valve.

It just runs to that upper right port on the LIM that then feeds air to both the charge control and charge relief solenoids.

Which is to say it's the second from the top out of those four pass-thru hard lines of the LIM. It's not obvious when looking at the diagram.

[edit: oh, wait, nevermind that's the version of the diagram with the detail that shows precisely that - duh]

It's the second one from the top of that column of nipples - it points back and down. Circled in blue, although not clearly visible in this pic.

hose

ok what do i go about taking off to get to this..just the UIM or is there more???...im gonna do this prolly tom soo yea..kinda wanna know what ihave to rip apart

It should just be under a big air hose. No UIM removal required. Are you simply fixing a vacuum line that's fallen loose?

Question vac

i put a streetport in and didnt hook this up but thought i would have to take the UIM off...could this be the reason for 8 lbs of boost???
