I would say cap it off... I think it goes to the collector that the boost controle solenoids all attatch too.

Mine does, they both connect right next to each other on the black plastic elbow coming from the turbo. I just checked my diagram and it shows the hose, just not where it leads. On your picture I don't see a nipple for it to conect to. Is there a hole next to the hose that is connected, it should be right next to the one on the black plastic elbow, if so it is possible it has broken off.

Yeah thre are two nipples off of that black tube being that the nipple on the black tube has been blocked off I would do the same to that line.

^^^

One end plugs into the nipple you are missing on the primary turbo inlet duct and the other into that hard line right next to it (you already know that)

That hard line goes up and eventually connects to your oil filler neck. Looking at your vacuum diagram, it would be the little line that disappears into nowhere under the PCV line. That line brings gases from the oil filler neck into the turbo to be burned.

That line isn't responsible for your boost leak.

That hole in the black elbow to the right of the blue hose should be a nipple that connects to that metal nipple on the tree. Replace the plastic elbow and hose and you'll be good to go. Very cheap part from the classifieds.

As for the boost leak keep looking. Did you remove and inspect the couplers between the y-pipe and inlet elbow?

It doesn't matter if they are secured if they have a hole in them.

You have to take them off and properly inspect the couplers for holes.

yeah, inspect all the hose couplers and intercooler piping.

you say it is a boost leak because you hear it or because the turbos are not boosting fine?

If it is because you can hear it, it is probably not a small vacuum but a big leak in a coupler. If you can't hear it, it might be a problem with the sequential system so maybe a vacuum or a solenoid.
