Vaccuum hose simplification question

Hey everyone,
I am in the process of converting to non sequential and had a few questions.

1. Do the pressure chamber and the vaccuum chamber serve a significant purpose or can I eliminate that all together?

2.If I eliminate the pressure chamber, can I just seal up the nipple on the oem y-pipe?

3.The pressure sensor that sits on the firewall and is connected by vaccuum hoses to the throttle body is supposed to have a gas filter. I do not have one on my car. It came like that. Is this a bad thing?? If it is a must can I just replace it with a check valve?

Thanks
Edwin

1. Non Seq does not require any of the pressure/vaccum chambers.

2. Yes

3. DO NOT replace it with a check valve. it needs to sense vaccum as well.
