Looks like a large stock mount to me. A true V-mount would include mounting the radiator differently.

The parts on the engine in that car look like a$$. Poor car. It doesn't even have ducting for the "V-mount".

That setup is poorly engineered.

Agreed, its not a real vmount since the rad. is still mounted stock, only the intercooler is angled, and the piping does look ghetto...lol

If you look at the pics it wasn't operational at the time. There aren't enough hose clamps on the couplers. Stock piping is 2.75", 2.5" is a step backwards.

Looks like someone was trying to save some money and build an IC, then they found out it sucked...

Despite the fact that they don't know what an intercooler does (or they'd actually have a duct), did you happen to notice the sh**y condition of that 7? Everything's all rusted and oxidized. There's even rust on the belts!! I wouldn't trust any part of of that POS, not to mention a custom piece.

I can't believe that someone bid on it. Hopefully they're just going to use the core for some other project.

It's an insult to poorly engineered products to even compare that to them.

No engineering thought of any kind went into that.

What BS line is that about the multiple welded pieces of **** pipe being the Japanese theroy. Yeah right.

Sad.

an intercooler is merely a radiator for air, find one that will fit as a front mount on your car and find someone to bend some pipe for you, u will save a lot of money and it will be just as good as any of those pricey kits out there.

crap-mount.

If you know the person that bid on it, tell them to withdraw their bid.
